We are blessed to be living in an area which transitions between relatively low-density residences and abutting forests and mountainous areas. Along with the natural beauty and tranquility comes inevitable contact with other creatures who call this area their home, such as deer, fox, coyote, wild turkeys and black BEARS.
Face Mask Distribution to Residents continues May 5 & 6
The Village of Montebello will be distributing free face masks to RESIDENTS at Village Hall (1 Montebello Road) from April 29 to May 1, 2020 between 10:0 0 AM – 2:00 Noon. One mask per person. First come, first served, until supply is depleted.

Rockland County Executive Ed Day and County Health Commissioner Dr. Patricia Schnabel Ruppert announce a new ‘Commissioner’s Standing Isolation Order’ (isolation order) for mandatory isolation related to COVID-19 to separate sick people from healthy people to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
