In response to ongoing dry conditions and increased fire danger, Rockland County Executive Ed Day has issued anexecutive orderfor a countywide burn ban, effective immediately. 

The Village of Montebello strongly emphasizes the importance of using 9-1-1 for all emergencies. The County of Rockland operates a nationally certified 9-1-1 center, which is equipped to handle emergency situations with the utmost efficiency and professionalism.
