PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT the Historic Preservation and Parks Commission (HPPC) of the Village of Montebello will be holding a public hearing on February 7, 2024, beginning at 7:30 pm local time, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, upon the application of David Fried, pursuant to Section 195-64C of the Village Code, to determine whether a Certificate of Appropriateness shall be issued, and if so under what conditions, if any, with respect to the construction of a single-family dwelling that shall lie within the Historic and Scenic Overlay District being within 250 feet of the centerline of Viola Road. The property is located at 37 Viola Road, Montebello, New York, which is situated on the south side of Viola Road, distant 500 feet from the intersection of Mile Road and is identified on the Ramapo tax map as Section 48.12 Block 1 Lot 4 in the RR-50 Zone.
All interested parties are invited to witness and participate. The application will be available for inspection and review at the Village Office during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or by email upon request.
